OUR STORY
Belair Baptist Church is a faith community based in Adamstown, Newcastle. We believe that God loves all people, and is inviting everyone to be transformed by embracing the good news of Jesus death and resurrection. We gather on sunday mornings and throughout the week to serve, encourage and spur one another on to love and good deeds.

Our mission at Belair Baptist Church is to be compassionate, inclusive and to walk with Jesus. Through gospel, service, worship and missions, we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. As a fellowship of believers, we have the honor of proclaiming the glory of Christ to one another in a loving and caring setting.

As devoted members of Belair Baptist Church, we are constantly pursuing the calling to be fully devoted followers of Christ. To build a true heaven on Earth, we live life based on the teachings of the Bible, are passionate about prayer and are grounded in spiritual accountability. MEET OUR TEAM
Nic Cassar - Lead Pastor
Nic has been been the Lead Pastor of Belair Baptist since October 2021. Known for his pioneering leadership gifts, his down to earth, approachable nature Nic has a passion for seeing the church in Australia grow and mature in it's representation of all people. Nic has studied, Music, Theology, and Teaching. He and his wife Jo have two beautiful children, Eden & Oscar.
A native Novacastrian, Nathan is known for his impressive administrative skills and life long service in Baptist churches. He is married to Lizelle and has been at Belair Baptist since Jan 2022. They are kept busy with their puppy Chester, and baby girl Layla!

Luke Reed - Discipleship Pastor / Coordinator
Our Discipleship Pastor / Coordinator Luke, along with his wife Monique and their children Taj, Zavier and Flynn, have been a part of the Belair Baptist Church family since early 2023.
Born and raised in the US, Linnah arrived at Belair with a wealth of para-church ministry experience. Linnah has served part time as our Care Pastor /Coordinator since 2024, and also works part time as an aged care Chaplin and is happily married to Mark.
